- Why when you win do a lot of these idiots demand ID and not when you deposit - Didn't you listen to them? It's for your protection. You wouldn't want someone who isn't really you sending you money, would you? - Quote: Originally Posted by Vambo Why when you win do a lot of these idiots demand ID and not when you deposit Because they'll take deposits from a 6 yr. old, but when it's time to collect YOUR money, the sun, the moon, and the stars have to be aligned perfectly... the Seas have to be at high-tide, the temperature must be between 63-71 degrees farenheight, and the groundhog must see his shadow. - Quote: Originally Posted by tim5ny Because they'll take deposits from a 6 yr. old, but when it's time to collect YOUR money, the sun, the moon, and the stars have to be aligned perfectly... the Seas have to be at high-tide, the temperature must be between 63-71 degrees farenheight, and the groundhog must see his shadow. ** This has been discussed at lenght! If a six year old has the ability to get past the safety checks which most reputable casinos has, deposit and wins, that is great, but when the casino call and try to varify that this person is who it says it is (a 16/18/21 yr old) this six year old had better be able to 'splain' very well and coherently with ID how the money is owed to him/her. Also, many claims are made about 'my wife did it' or 'my maid did it' or 'my buddy played under my profile' or 'i have been hacked/cracked/trojaned'. In the event that the casino is requested to 'change the payment method' or even just a chash-in request, DON'T you think that they would WANT to make sure that the RIGHT person is a)requesting this money and b)recieving it. There are crooks out there, for sure, but not everyone is 'out to get' you, why don't you just accept the fact that this is how it is, cooperate and you might actually get your money a bit faster?! Just a thought, use it, don't use it. ** - Quote: Originally Posted by Petunia There are crooks out there, for sure, but not everyone is 'out to get' you, True enough, but I still think that if they ask for ID on your first withdrawal, they should ask for ID on your first deposit too. And if they ask for your fist withdrawal and deposit, shouldn't they really ask for ID on every deposit and withdrawal to make sure 'the maid' isn't playing? - Quote: Originally Posted by Petunia ** This has been discussed at lenght! I hope not as it is not very constructive. Mugwump: Some of the casinos actualy does that, that is partly one of the reasons for the 24hour period between the cash in. (On the other hand of course they hope you will reverse it and play some more....) I think it is hard from both sides, and some casinos has a better system in place than others. In the end, we are (unfortuanately) at their 'mercy' and I think the complaints should be constructive. I have seen on here many of the top casino reps asking the players for advice on what THEY would like to see, do, have, know... and sure enough, some changes were made. Lately there are a lot of mudslinging and very little constructive input (just read UP for an example) and this is doing nobody any good. Just my 2c again. Use it, loose it.... I am happy with my casinos and happy providing ID and happy (untill they mess with my money of course!) I guess it all boils down to 'who do you trust enough to give you a 'fair enough' deal. ** - Quote: Originally Posted by Petunia **tim5ny : IS that your official statement and contribution? Sorry Bryan, but I don't get bullied around by fat-assed women behind keyboards. Tim5ny's account has been suspended for 7 days. Namecalling is not tolerated in this forum. When Petunia stated that this has been discussed at length - well it has. Asking for ID when one signs up does not make sense in an industry that relies on instant gratification. Simple as that. Identification is required normally during the first phase of cashing out for the first time - or within a specified period of time after opening an account. Certain licensing jurisdictions require this - it's not always up to the casino. - *Bryan, short and sweet, I think I will copy that paragraph from you for future use ... ta'* craps baccarat bingo online casino
